Service 332: Service History

Service 332 (2016— )

Operated by First Midland Red Buses Limited

Service 332 was introduced by First Midland Red Buses Limited on Monday 11th April 2016 as a partial replacement for Service 362, which was withdrawn at the end of operations on Saturday 9th April 2016. The service operates every two hours during the daytime off-peak period along the same route as Service 362 between Worcester, Kempsey, Kinnersley, Earl’s Croome, Ryall and Upton-upon-Severn, but where Service 362 previously continued to Great Malvern via Welland, Hanley Swan and Three Counties Showground, the new Service 332 terminates in Upton-upon-Severn.

On arriving in Upton-upon-Severn, most buses change to Service 373 and return to Worcester via The Graftons, Welland, Hanley Swan, Callow End and Powick. The only exception to this being the last journey on Friday and Saturday evenings, which returns to Worcester as Service 363. Likewise, Service 373 journeys arriving in Upton-upon-Severn from Worcester change to Service 332 and return to Worcester via Earls Croome and Kempsey etc. Through tickets are available to allow passengers to travel past Upton-upon-Severn in either direction.

Service 332 is interworked with Service 32 to provide a 30-minute frequency between Worcester City Centre, Kempsey and Baynhall. Additionally, Service 382 is also interworked with these to provide a 15-minute frequency between Worcester City Centre and St. Peter’s Estate. Peak-time and schoolday journeys between Worcester, Kempsey and Upton-upon-Severn are provided by Service 333 which operates direct between Kempsey and Upton-upon-Severn, omitting Kinnersley, Earl’s Croome and Ryall.
