Yeomans Travel have acquired Tri axle Scania Omnicity YN08 DDU from Yarrantons

Am I correct in thinking Yeomans have acquired a number of extra school/swim contracts this year? Is the fleet expanding for this?

I believe this is been acquired due to extra pupils travelling on the 809 Hereford to Fairfield school service. Optare Tempo MX06 ACU can't manage a full standing load. This vehicle can hold an extra 25. The extra school and swim contracts are run using the current coaching fleet.

Sunday before last (3rd Sept) I was in Hereford briefly teaching the new "Herefordshire Rota" members the 405 route. I spotted one of the new Solos (fleet number 91) working the "Hay Ho" service 39A. Didn't quite see who was driving but I know our good friend Rolly often works that route on a Sunday. Do you know if it was him? If so, please tell him off from me for not waving!

He alternates every other with with Laszlo Nagy. Think it was him that day so I'll pass the message on!!
