This one is parked at the back of "the patch".
According to the Potteries tracker it hasn't seen service there since June 11th, -
and my GUESS is it's here for our Mechwr26 to work his magic on it !!

Also on the patch ( for several days ) is a Volvo lorry ( - 06 reg) and my guess is it has the correct 7 litre engine for Mechwr26 to extract (?)

Hi DD12. 31782 is here for an engine overhaul, however I'm in the midst of an engine rebuild on 69213 from Doncaster and I've got 36245 from Sheffield here in bits as well. The Volvo lorry is not part of the plan and isn't here to provide parts..
Mr Price and I have also been busy sorting the brakes and doing other jobs on 6015 over the past 2 weekends as well.
Pleased to say the brakes are sorted and its getting very close to leaving us....
If ever you're passing I'd be happy to show you the progress on any of the engine projects or Daimler stuff. I'm here most of the time, ask for Pasty and someone will shout me.

Interesting that you're working-on 36245, as it's the 9 litre version, -- is this your first one ?

Its arrived here to have a bad oil leak sorted. Currently waiting for a genuine crankseal to arrive then I can put it back together and send it home. I've also fitted new engine mountings and stripped and resealed the timing case. The tool to install the seal was £700
Its not my first b9, we had a steelink branded one here last year which was towed down from Sheffield with a major engine failure. Turned out to be a broken injector clamp and we fixed it in a day
