Thought this article which appeared in The Daily Telegraph Business section yesterday 19 June 2017 might be of interest to all bus enthusiasts; I hadn't realised just how big the Alexander Dennis empire had become - 2,400 employees is impressive, so too is the output of 1,444 buses in one year.

Does London Mayor Sadiq Khan's statement that he will stop buying the new Routemaster as it is too expensive to buy (and run?) mean that this particular Wright Bus production line will shortly be closed?

Good news for Alexander Dennis, but I would imagine alarm bells are ringing in Northern Ireland at the moment.
