Couldn't agree more Tim.
I'm very much enjoying my paid holidays, but it can't last forever. We need to be moving forward not back. It won't be easy, but we need to be positive.

I think that the Diamond update page has changed since I first looked at it. If I recall, there was a general move to more normal timetables from 31 May, but that is now limited to Kidderminster's 3 and Redditch's 57/58. The statement that the 146 and 303 will not be re-instated has disappeared. Don't suppose it signals a change of heart though.

I don't think that the changes are taking place next week, as I have my duties for Thursday - Saturday, and they haven't altered from the past few weeks.

Thanks Marck !

PS - I like your thumbnail photo (or whatever it's called) - of a Gemini in the latest livery !

- it's something we could have expected to see in Worcester by now (ex-Leicester, and repainted) - had there not been the pandemic !!

Now, however, - who knows what will happen, and when ! ? ! ?

I expect the next move on the 146, 202 and 303 will be up to Worcestershire County Council. I can't blame Diamond for ceasing to run them if loadings will negligible.

I wonder if WCC will increase the 182/183 Redditch - Alvechurch - Lickey - Bromsgrove from the current once a day each, to replace the 146 and 202?

Going back to an earlier item, Hereforshire Council's website says that First's Ledbury market day services were suspended from Saturday 4 April - https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/info/2 ... s_travel/4

UPDATE: First are awaiting payment from the Government before they will increase the number of services. No payment has yet been made, but the MD said he expected a result soon. But it will have to come before tomorrow, or there will not be enough time to sort drivers and rota's out. If there is no payment, increased services will be put back by a week, and I will be on furlough once again.

Here are the new timetables from next week.

I'm glad to see the increased frequencies on some routes, but I'm very concerned about the continuing absence of the 363 and the "rush hour" extensions of the 32 to / from Kempsey.

Here also is a link to a report on the latest version of government support :-

My son text me today to say he is also furloughed for three weeks... sounds like my garden will get done then!
