Hmm, is this a hint that a set of transfers are about to begin...

No - its just that there are a lot of movements on the thread which started well over a year ago - just makes sense to start a new thread for the New Year.
However, we are expecting some replacement deckers for the Tridents, and some more Citaros (Hooray) to replace the StreetMax's.

Six StreetDecks are now officially transferred from Olive Grove to Leicester, and so if the various reports and rumours are correct, we could "soon" get two StreetDecks and four Geminis from Leicester.
Apparently the StreetDecks need work doing on them !
I would hate the Geminis to enter service at Worcester without a repaint and interior deep clean, although it would be slightly "amusing" to see the Leicester City liveried one in use here ( - and please my brother who is a LCFC supporter !

It has been reported that 32643 has transferred from Leicester to Adderley Green. Apparently it is a permanent move but the remaining 3 Gemini's are still expected to move to Worcester.
Hopefully, we will gain 3 StreetDeck's to make up for this! However, I fear that now we have two coaches that are being partially used on school runs & with the forthcoming 144 reductions, then we could see a further reduction in Decker's at WR...

A driver is going to Slough depot tomorrow (Wednesday 22 Jan) to collect a Citaro - no details which one as yet, but this should be the first of several to arrive over the next few weeks.
Also, I have been reliably informed that the Plaxon Centro bodied Volvos, (66691-9) are due to leave in the near future, their replacements being more Citaros (yipee)

Hmmm. Interesting!
I feel it would be a shame to see the Centro's leave as they are quite rare vehicles in the First Group fleet & I do quite like them - but I know they've had their issues (certainly in the past with reliability problems) Also an odd thing to happen as they are pretty much the same age as the Citaro's they will be replaced by...
Looks like First Worcester will become an all Mercedes fleet soon!
