Salt Road Fleet Names
It just occurred to me that the fleet names are not on uk buses or any other fleet list, does anyone know all the names of the 12 buses?
Re: Salt Road Fleet Names
Good point. I asked First Marketing for a list at the launch but they didn’t have one. They said they would get back to me and it seems we both forgot! I’ll chance them up in the week...

I have looked at the photographs taken at Droitwich recently when First Bus did the Salt Road promotion and the following names apply;Charliedaffin wrote: ↑21:24 Saturday 30th November 2019It just occurred to me that the fleet names are not on uk buses or any other fleet list, does anyone know all the names of the 12 buses?
69435 JUNO
69436 VICTORIA
69452 VESTA
69454 EPONA
69459 DIANA
69460 PROSPERPINA
Obviously many are not shown, as I have been more or less house-bound during large part of November with prosthetic leg problems. Come on you spotters, pen and paper in hand!

Before this what was the last fleet to have individual names? Hereford Hopper's?

I think you're right. I can't remember MRW/FMR ever using names on buses during the 24-years I was there. Well, not officially anyway... The drivers had a few names for them but I won't go into that now!

I seem to remember at least one of the early Lances having the name of an individual who worked at Digbeth garage over the passenger entrance door; possibly 201.AdamH wrote: ↑08:16 Monday 2nd December 2019I think you're right. Ah yes, fleet number 201 was named in memory of a Digbeth Dispatch Clerk who passed away.
The name is visible on this photo... http://midlandred.net/vehicles/photogra ... 01&image=4 but too small to make it out.
