Thanks! The new stops make sense to me.

Saw 33402 on a 144 yesterday.First time I've seen a DD operating a 144 on a Sunday. Can only think it was because Worcester Warriors were at home and were expecting increased loadings.

.... and possibly because of Xmas shoppers (I HOPE) ?

I've been meaning to ask on here, if any of our drivers have been seeing over-loaded single-deckers on the 144, this last few weeks (?)

P.S. - I like your "moniker" Severnlink - I think the graphics or font (?), are better than those the National Bus Company used !

I think the 144 was probably interworked with the Rugby services and therefore used the same vehicle.

My initial thought was Xmas shoppers then heard the Rugby result later in the evening so thought it was probably for that.It was the 10:05 Worcester-Brum.

I used the SEVERNLINK image from this site so thanks must go to the webmaster :)

In that case it's not an exact match as I used the nearest font I could find at the time!

I ran the 17:15 Service 144 tonight and I was amazed how quiet it was on the return journey... 1 passenger from Birmingham to Rubery, empty to Bromsgrove, then 1 from Bromsgrove to Fernhill Heath and 1 from Droitwich to Worcester.

Where were they all hiding?

I used to love those quiet trips, especially with something with some decent go. Open up from Stoke Heath roundabout to Webbs, don't brake until you're level with the truckstop, blip the throttle with your heel as she's coming down the 'box and power on through. They don't put bread on the table though!

You really need to buy something better than a Ford if you have to get your speed kicks from driving a bus!

I seriously hope that that was a VERY rare "statistical fluke" , and that the workings before and after were well loaded !
..... That news is also the exact opposite of what I had hoped to hear !
