Cracking! Liking those Tim.
Either incredibly lucky or, more likely, extremely well planned to see so many charters in one place. Some excellent shots there so thank you, Tim.
An avid rail enthusiast, photographer and railway worker told me the day before that Stafford would be a preservation charter mecca, so I checked on Realtime Trains website and booked a Midland Day Ranger ticket and after Stafford I had a ride over the recently completed Norton Junction avoidance flyover on a 'wonderful' Voyager. I was amazed at the length of this loop and the amount of land it occupies. I returned via Stoke, Crewe and Coventry and had a quick peek at Kenilworth station with its peculiar fence taking up much of the platform whilst riding the single car 153 from Coventry to Leamington.
