I’m going!
Told them I wanted to drive into Worcester so I’ll be working the old BMMO X72 route from Gloucester to Worcester via Tewkesbury (missing out the Upton bit). Someone else to do the rest!

Sorry guys I won't be able to make this

Re: Wythall Bristol Event
That's not good... Haven't seen you since January!
Meanwhile, as we are picking up Mr DD12 on Bath Road, and now that First no longer serve that route on Sundays, it looks like the Stagecoach takeover of Worcester has begun

Re: Wythall Bristol Event
I'm looking forward to my first ever ride on a Bristol VR in Worcestershire (shame it's not green), and from my local bus stop too !
I've ridden them in my regular South-West holiday haunts though.
I hope the plan is (still) to go along the Ombersley Road to pick up Tim Brown -- -- this is where I grew up, and rode on D7s, D9s, DD11s, 12s, and 13s, and often started my "Day Anywhere" trips from here on a DD northbound via Ombersley -- which I'm hoping to replicate on Sunday !
Re: Wythall Bristol Event
Yeah I know mate, I'm sorry I had already agreed to be somewhere else tomorrow. Shame as the VR has to be my favourite bus, plenty of good memories of rides along the North Cornwall coast many years ago. We'll have to have a celebratory Chinese soon as I have some good news for a change.
Re: Wythall Bristol Event
Yes it is. We are still looking to depart Crowngate at 0825.
In a slight change of plan, we are departing Stroud depot and Gloucester Transport Hub slightly earlier than originally planned to give more margin for error in our schedule. This means we may be slightly earlier on the Bath Road in Worcester... Mr DD12, I will make sure someone telephones you when we are past Upton so you have plenty of time to get to the stop. The phone call will probably be just before 0800.
Any early arrival time will be taken in Crowngate, so the schedule after that point will remain unchanged.

Thanks in advance, to you and Matt.
