Route branding seems to be flavour of the month again at the moment, so I'm expecting something!

It is currently over a pit having a few minor jobs sorted before going into service. 63102 is over the pit next to it having a long list of problems sorted...

Bad that buses are transferred into WR with unresolved issues to sort...

The B7L is pretty nice to ride on actually, I caught it on the 144 yesterday!

I guess for route branding, we could see revised 44 branding as "the Malverns", a 144 brand, then the "fifties."

I've always wanted to see core WR city routes get some branding/promotion to grow patronage.

Nice looking vehicle, I like the black headlamp units.

Me too, hope they don't paint over that when they go for refurb.

Meanwhile, here's the StreetLite that arrived on Thursday...

Looks tidy.

Those lights always remind me of the old Morette twin-lamp conversions every self-respecting boy racer had in the 90s. And yes, I did have them on my Nova

Graham, who you met at Silverstone, has them on his Legacy. I think they look terrible but they are very rare and cost a fortune so he wont take them off!

53802, 63102 and 69453 all entered service at Worcester today. The Solo was running a bit hot on on the hills around Bromyard and Colwall but not enough to disrupt service. However after the afternoon schools it was swapped for another Solo before running the last 417, just to be safe!

All the route branded buses I saw today none were on service they were branded for. I know changes are made for breakdowns and late running but it does make me wonder how effective route branding is.

That is also one of the things I find annoying... Prehaps when the October changes come into effect the new running boards will complement the vehicles being used on the correct service with the branding as there will be a number of branded buses introduced for a lot of the new routes (I presume anyway, at least if they want to make it work/try not to confuse the customers) Although as you say with vehicle brake downs and traffic jams it can't be helped... :?
