According to their May Snapshot newssheet received yesterday with their Autumn, Christmas and Spring 2019 holiday brochure, Johnsons have invested half a million pounds in two new Scania 53 seat coaches and three new Torneo minibuses. The accompanying pictures look as though the Scanias are 67 reg so those maybe new vehicles already reported.

Johnsons have posted a video on Facebook showing their two new Scania Finesse 53 seat coaches - YP18 SUX and YP18 SUY. (When I see registrations like the latter I still think of them as being Worcestershire and I guess I always will! Remember AB, NP, UY and WP?)

Am I correct in saying that "FK" was a local one also ?? or was it a West Midlands one. And also , "UX" would have been Shropshire , it was much easier to pinpoint a new vehicles licence office in those days !! And "PS" was one of the rare ones . . . . . .

FK was for the city of Worcester.

I too, enjoy seeing those marks when the current modern system regurgitates them ! :D
