Vehicle Replacements 2024
Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024
Streetlite 47611 is in Padmore Street garage. It's in the new YELLOW Bee Network livery of Greater Manchester !
IF it's a permanent transfer to WR, there are some people who might think it's ridiculous to transfer such a recently repainted bus, - BUT:-
It may be just a temporary transfer for the new ex-Astons work.
OR It MIGHT have also had an interior refurbishment which MIGHT be a WorcS CC requirement ?

47609 + 10, also yellow, are due imminently.
Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024
Comments on Facebook suggest these are only temporary.

One of my first jobs!
Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024
47612 and a few others are now confirmed in Bristol having been displayed by brand new buses on the Bee Network, so I would assume the same holds true with 47611.

Solent branded 47417 just passed by me on a 144 service.
Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024
Some of the Manchester franchise routes First stated operating March require new Mellor vehicles to operate them which presumably because of the problems the manufacturer was having the delivery is running late so First drafted in a number of Streetlites in to cover the services. Some have been painted in the Beeline yellow though the vehicles have not had a TfGM Beeline interior refurb. What is strange why the yellow ones have been cascaded ahead of ones still in Firstgroup colours. A number of the Volvo B7s from the same batch Worcester has primarily for the 144 have also moved to Manchester and these too have had a coat of yellow paint
