This morning, Tuesday 12 September 2023, the 32S school service was worked by 36242, seen along a very wet and gloomy Grange Avenue;

The return working just after 4 pm this afternoon was operated by ex Leicester 35154 which made a colourful shot in the 'Frequent Fourteens' red and orange livery;

Thanks Tim.
This is a new use of DDs in the afternoon -- it goes on to to do the S23 next, -- so possibly via the Northern link road (?) -- I will have to go and check, - unless someone can confirm !!

Make the most of 36242, as it and 41 are departing for pastures new by the end of the month. A shame really, as Pasty and the boys have sorted out the gearbox problems on it.

Probably just 35152, 68 which are already at WR garage, and shown on the bustimes.org list of WR vehicles, albeit with Abbey Lane shown still as the depot.

IF they enter service at WR, that will gives us 35152-59, + 68 which is 9 StreetDecks
+ 32644.

With the news that 36241 and 36242 are soon to be transferred away from Worcester I managed a shot of 36242 yesterday afternoon Wednesday 13 September 2023 on the return 32S and managed to capture complete destination as the light levels good and 'shutter speed' high.

Then this morning, Thursday 14 September 2023, photographed 36241 working the 32S
and by contrast Worcester based regular 35156 on the afternoon 32S working.

Also took a couple of shots of Diamond Volvos to show the long term grime covering these buses; can only assume that Kidderminster wash facility isn't working, assuming they have a bus wash of course! Anyway 30410 YJ07 OZW is seen working the Kidderminster bound 303 early this morning and 30409 YJ07 OZV seen working in the opposite direction into Worcester this afternoon.

Thanks Tim !
The photo of 35156 is interesting to me, -- it's showing St.Peters as the destination instead of Bevere --
This afternoon on the bustimes tracker for 35156 it does not show that it went on to do the PM S23, - until you click on the 17.31 working of the 30, - then map, - and this shows the S23 was done by 35156 !!
Also the summary box for today's S23 does not show an afternoon working !

Does putting the wrong destination on the "screen" bugger up the tracker ?

Also, I think this arrangement for the 32S, then the S23, will not last long because of lateness at Red Hill (?)

I had a double take after posting the picture of 35156; if a certain bus station inspector who sadly passed away recently was still on duty there would have been some sharp comment and gesticulation when that bus arrived in from St Peters! No doubt an easy mistake to make if running late and pressed for time as this service seems to be along Bath Road and Barbourne, the times might look good on paper but certainly don't work in Worcester during the peak period. Interesting to know the official route 'out of service' from Green Lane to Sixth Form College in 19 minutes; the driver of 35156 would only have 13 minutes yesterday according to BusTimes website live report.

Sorry for deviating a bit. I read that the bush wash at Diamonds Kidderminster depot was 'playing up' earlier in the year so maybe that is the case again. Certainly a number of their buses look scruffy - even after being recently repainted. I remember watching coaches at Digbeth getting refuelled and then driven straight through the wash as a matter of course whoever they belonged to.

36241 departed for sunny Weston-Super-Mare today, Friday.
