These three vehicles are to be withdrawn upon expiration of their MoTs, unless they pass without any expenditure. 36244 MoT expires on 24th Sept; 36245's expires on 26 May, and 36246 expires on February 28th. So if you want to catch the Leicester liveried decker, you have just over a week to do so.

Let's hope the current management have got enough intelligence to replace them with 'deckers with enough seats for the school duties (IE - more than 70) -- --
some First companies have been receiving ex-London vehicles (again) which in the past has meant too few seats, -- -- WR's deckers are "rotated" Monday - Friday, not allocated to specific school services all week, so it's important.
(I wish First would buy "state of the art" new diesel DDs -- same as Stagecoach is doing -- while they are still available !)

32646 has bitten the dust, withdrawn today.

One replacement vehicle has been acquired, a very youthful 06 plate version 37147 YN06URA. Don't know where it came from, but it has First Cymru legal lettering, and FIrst Glasgow fleetnames can just be made out above the entrance door. Also attached is a pic of the now withdrawn 32646, alongside 36241.

37147 was new to First South Yorkshire allocated to Olive Grove.

Here's a recent history !

I don't like facebook, but there's sometimes good info on there, -- -- just been on there, and someone "in the know" -- who works for First -- has stated that 37147 is a SHORT TERM replacement.
Although this was likely to be the case, it's nice to get that reassurance !
