The attached article appeared in today's Daily Mail 'City and Finance' section and it outlines a US Private Equity bid for First Group. Please also note the final paragraph which states that the Stagecoach takeover is now completed.

Here is an article from the Daily Telegraph business section today, Friday 10 June 2022, outlining why First Group has rejected the bid by US private equity firm I Squared Capital.

It has just been announced that I Squared Capital Advisors have announced today that it does not intend to make a firm offer for FirstGroup, the reason given is that the FIrstGroup board have decided that the offer significantly undervalues the company.
