Following on from the drastic cuts to 144, 44 and City Services a quick check on the Bustimes.org website at 08-30 this morning 3 May 2022 shows that 12 buses and 1 coach were not required for service. Discounting the coach, as this is a spare for the motorway operated S55 school contract, my guess is that allowing for service and repairs Worcester garage has a surplus of 8 buses or approx 12% of current 65 vehicle fleet. Will the 19 year old Citaros be withdrawn or will the axe fall elsewhere?

The expected PVR before WCC stepped in to help the 31 and 37 was 55 vehicles. I’m guessing the PVR is now about 57.
