Charter trains at Shrub Hill 22 April 2022.

Worcester Shrub Hill station had two charter trains call at lunchtime today Friday 22 April 2022. The Northern Belle Afternoon Tea train ran from Kidderminster to Newport with 57316 'Alnwick Castle' leading and 47813 bringing up the rear in 'top and tail' mode.

Then a few minutes later the Honeybourne Hoover ran from Burton-on-Trent to Eastleigh with 50008 'Thunderer' and 50007 'Hercules' masquerading as 50034 'Furious'.

Excellent 37 action. And to think there used to be loads of them based about 300 yards away from where I now live. Just one semi-permanent 66 now!
