I have heard of two variations after the initial three to four weeks of operation from YW.
One is that the YW 49 (Solihull to Rubery) will be extended and continue onto Bromsgrove.
The other is the 144 will transfer to NXWM Central garage and the 63 will be extended on certain journeys to run through to Bromsgrove.
The latter is more logical.

Radio H & W are saying passengers will have to change buses at Rubery for onward travel to Birmingham ?

New timetable posted on stops, confirming the route number as 144A, plus destination will be Longbridge Rail Station. New notice also from NXWM as well…

Good news that you can use the full range of their tickets on the service.
Both the 144 and 144A will be routed Crabtree Lane and Broad Street then! Probably no bad thing as I went down the Stourbridge Road about 4.30pm yesterday and it was queued back past All Saints Road

https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/servi ... d-may-2022 Confirms Daysaver tickets valid so £4 return Bromsgrove to Birmingham or anywhere you like for that matter :D Atleast that takes the sting out of having to change buses and slightly longer journey times.

Good news indeed. It brings back memories of when "West Midlands" operated the 145 through from Bromsgrove to Birmingham and their day tripper ticket was valid. Operated by Leyland Nationals if I recall.

I know this was a very short-notice contract and their commercial team have done wonders to get it ready in time, but I really hope that once the dust settles they can fix the 70-minute frequency as that is not going to work in the long run.
