Good news... First will be running the shuttle service for the 2022 Hay on Wye Festival.

I'm going to try and find a gap in my schedule to take a ride out with the camera and get some photos, and lunch. I'm not sure which day I'll go yet, I'm waiting on Mr Mansfield to tell me which days he's driving!

Here's some Timetables etc.

Very pleased today to see the X99 is still DD operated, --
using 3 StreetDecks, even though none have been borrowed from Leicester.

The only customers to have to put up with single-deckers instead were on the X50 !

I took advantage as far as Hereford (£10.80 return).
The scenery was wonderful and green, but needs another good watering ( - which isn't forecast).
3 hours to kill in Hereford, which went extremely quickly, and I found it more vibrant and "characterful" (post-pandemic) than Worcester !

I'm slightly tempted to use the X99 again, - as far as Castle Frome ( - which one of today's drivers assured me I can do), but I think the risk of the return bus sailing past me (if it's a different driver to the morning one) is a bit high !!

My StreetDeck this afternoon, over-took a lorry going up Fromes Hill !!

I was hoping to take a ride out one day, but I don't think I'm going to find time to make it this year.
