Not a Midland Red, but I found this quite amusing when I came across it this morning... GhostBusTours RM1666 waiting to operate a tour. Note the skull on the grille! I later spotted the same operator running a more modern Alexander bodied double-deck with a 2002 reg number if I remember correctly.

Bet that bus is in great demand over the Halloween weekend; does it have green interior lights and ghouls hanging from the ceiling - that would be really tasty; only joking!

Looked like the interior has been re-trimmed in a deep red leather, with what looked like very deep cushioned seats. Couldn't see much due to the red velvet curtains!

According to their web-site , they also operate in York and Edinburgh .

Interesting to read the origins of "ghost buses" in and around London.
