Hi all,
Are the Volvos working set diagrams on the 144 at the moment or are they just on anything. Hoping to photograph one tomorrow on the 144 so knowing what journeys they operate would be useful.
Thanks
No, they go out in the order they are parked over night. I managed to get a couple of photos of 69436 in Birmingham last weekend but I had to call in a favour the night before to make sure it was put to one side for me!

Comparing my recent "survey", to the bus graph, I see that IF the timetable (and "workings") stays similar to now, the main daytime off-peak requirement will be 8 green Volvos for the 144, and 4 for the 144A -

- has anyone heard of any further changes apart from new branding and publicity ??

And Adam, - has the company involved you in any of the forthcoming publicity, photos etc ? (Nosey chap, aren't I !!)

(I "scanned as I boarded" a 3-D barcode on my bus ticket today for the first time, and an ageing family member has happily used contactless !!)

Nope. I have been given a copy of the final livery for the green buses to publish on this site once they are officially launched, but as yet I haven't been given a date for when that will be.

The photos I took in Bromsgrove and Birmingham of 69436 (search in main libary) were simply a result of me agreeing to work an early 144 shift as overtime and then pulling a few strings to make sure I had one of the green buses. I did get some very positive comments from passenger though.

Re the bus graph... There are changes to the 38 route from next week to improve reliability, so the published graph will be further out of date. I've yet to see the new workings so don't know what the changes are.

69449 is now in service. I believe it went out yesterday but I missed it!

Yes, I was in town and noted 69449 working into Crowngate bus station on a 144 at approx 10-35 yesterday morning; unfortunately not carrying a camera on this occasion to record the event.

69451 arrived at Worcester this morning and a start has already been made with the "half-dressed" stickers and stuff.

I think two Enviro300s have gone in it's place, but not sure which ones. My guess would be 67655 and 67656.

I hate to think of the savage road salt attacking that lovely new green paint -

- I hope someone will wash/ rinse them off, at the end of the day -

I would volunteer, but it's a bit too cold !!

I did see one of the green buses on the 37 yesterday evening! That didn't take too long to get off the 144s
