The 202 Halesowen to Bromsgrove service is back this week serving the Old Birmingham Road and Lickey End again. Sadly, the couple of buses I have seen so far were not very well patronised, not helped I am sure by the lack of publicity about its return. When will operators realise that potential passengers can only travel on their buses if they are aware of when and where they operate? A small notice on the odd bus shelter will only be seen by those who use the stop anyway.

Lets hope the 202 does get an increased patronage . At least Diamond appear to have made an initial effort to provide newer buses on the route. I noted a 20 plate Streetlite in Bromsgrove @ 12.20 yesterday and "Bustimes" suggest two similar vehicles on the service today.

And a similar "70" plate earlier this morning.

Noted in Bromsgrove earlier this morning , KX06LXO with 580 , Kidderminster via Wolverley in the destination blind . . . . . . Covering for a breakdown I guess ??

Diamond 21101 in the Bus Station this morning with fluid leaking from the rear of the vehicle. Butimes suggest that it had been on a 145.

One of Diamonds new Mercedes / Illesbus minibuses was working the 182/183 yesterday. Two of this type of vehicle are to be introduced on the Bromsgrove "dail a ride" service.

Might have helped if I had said it was 15005 that I had seen. . . . .

And just to add that 15004 went up along Market Street earlier - not in service. Possibly heading to Redditch ?? Anyone confirm ??
