The first refurbished Volvo for the 144 has apparently arrived back - IN LEICESTER!! I suppose a spare driver will be found next week in the school holidays to collect it.

63102 was still here (on loan), but I didn't see 69453 which now appears as "in store" in this website's fleet list ( - thanks Adam) -

Has it gone back to Leicester, prior to going up to Thorntons, does anyone know ?

Also, does anyone know when 66305 will be back on the road ?
(I assume it's waiting for parts ?)

69453 has indeed gone back to Leicester for referb work to start. I’d be interested to see if they use it in service first. 63102 has also returned now, I’m guessing it was swapped for 69435 today, as that has been stored at Leicester since the end of last week.

Meanwhile I’ve had a text tonight to ask if I’m free to collect 53802 from Stoke on Sunday. That’s something for me to negotiate tomorrow!

Now that 69435/6 are both in service at Worcester, Enviro300 67651/3 will be heading north to Potteries in the morning.

According to Mr.FireFly, on the wmbusphotos forum, it has re-entered service there ....

Volvo 69450 arrived in Worcester yesterday afternoon looking very green. It was fitted with the "half-dressed" branding today. It hasn't been out in service yet.

In it's place 67654 has now gone to Potteries.

There is also a rumour Worcester will be getting two replacement Coaches for Christmas... ho ho ho!

- How about one or two brand-new ones !!

- I believe It's 32 years since WR had some, brand-new, for it's own use -
unless I've forgotten some (?)
(1006+7, B106+7JAB - Tigers).

If there are 2 coaches coming back, hopefully Padmore St will get the late night Worcester - Oxford rail replacement work again.
