99% of the single yellow line was put in place along Crabtree Lane yesterday, 3 spaces where cars were parked were missed out ! 35159 was noted on the 144 route yesterday afternoon. :)

Although I haven't seen the running card, Ibhave noticed a StreetDeck seems to be on a 144 just about every day at the moment, so I'm starting to think it has been allocated that way. Normally between 1600 and 1700 from Worcester.

Just want to remind everone that some of the bus stops in Birmingham will be changing from Sunday with the introduction of the new timetable.

Centro have said they will change all the flags over the weekend, but if it isn't done in time our marketing man and an inspector have volunteered to go up with some stickers and make temporary alterations...

So if anyone notices two First employees wearing vis-vests and carrying a step ladder travelling on the 144 service . . . . . . .

Step ladder? Budget doesn't go that far. The reason two will be going is so one can stand on the other's shoulders!

I see the First website says about the 144 from 4 September that "The bus stops between Rubery and Birmingham City Centre have also been amended", but I can't see anywhere on the site that says where the amended stops will be!

They have printed a list of the stops for the drivers and were handing them out at Padmore Street Tuesday morning. So, if your driver was working an early on Tuesday and started in the garage your bus will call at the new stops, but they started in Crowngate or had the day off your bus will call at the old stops!

If you have a copy of the new 144/144A timetable book there is a list on the last page next to the Sunday northbound times, but I haven't seen one online yet.

Edit: Just noticed the stops for the other direction are listed next to the Sunday times for that direction. Makes sense I guess!
