The Badgerline livery certainly stands out whereas corporate First livery - whichever version - to me has the opposite effect. As for Diamond , they have been slowly improving the age profile of their fleet of recent years but they do have one thing in common with First , a lot of their vehicles run around with a coating of grime.

Here's where the budget has been spent. Battery operated buses working a 45 mile round X1 trip from Weston-Super-Mare to Bristol with Chinese built Yutong double-deckers at that. Is there rapid charging each end as I doubt whether the range is much better than 120 miles in ideal conditions, I'm also wondering what is wrong with the WrightBus alternative? A Sino of the times, all as per attached link to on-line Route One article;

Saw a new Yutong in First livery heading down the M5 towards Bristol today. Very smart!

With kind permission of Bob Hemming here are photographs, taken from the Pheasant Street gate of two more Badgerline Streetdecks parked on Padmore Street 'patch'. On
Friday 25 April 2025 it was 35689 MF22 SZC.

Then yesterday, Tuesday 29 April 2025, 35685 MF22 SYW is seen alongside driver training bus 66845 MX05 CGU.

With a trio of recently cascaded ADL E400 double-deckers, now part of the Worcester fleet, parked alongside the (redundant) bus wash.
