I may be wrong, but the chassis with ancient wheels and solid tyres may be a Daimler Y Type which was new in 1917 to City of Oxford Electric Tramways.

OVS 908 is a beautifully restored 1937 Singer Super 9 four door saloon. It has an OHV 1 litre engine which gives a top speed of 60 MPH given a long level straight road. It also has hydraulic brakes.

My Tardis is fully operational unlike keying-in skills  !

Hope the Museum goes from strength to strength in the next ten years; there was a very good turnout helped by the unseasonably mild weather for New Year's Day 2019. The vintage buses giving free rides to Oxford Parkway, Witney and 'Mystery Tours' all seemed to be carrying full seated loads with quite a few young families amongst the hordes of older bus enthusiasts.

Excellent shots Tim. That little Singer is lovely - I've never driven a pre-war car and I ought to try somehow, although I bet it was in a minority at the time having full hydraulic braking.
