Any idea when they will be entering service ? Looking forward to seeing these on the 144, if the plan is still for some to be emission trapped for use into Birmingham City
Don’t know, but I’d booked one for tomorrow morning to take on a photo shoot for the Marketing department. I had an email this morning to say that none were ready yet. The photo shoot has been put back in until Monday so let’s hope at least one of them is ready in time... and the fine weather holds!

Ok thanks for the information Adam.
Indeed , hopefully the weather stays sunny for you, although it could create some problems with all the shadows from the low winter sun ;)

There is a notice on the wall in the canteen to say one of the Citaros will be available in Crowngate Bus Station from Friday 16th November for driver familiarisation training.

I'm wondering if there be any kind of public promotional event for the 35, or for the refurbished Mercs in general ?
….. and will all of them have retrimmed seats ?

There is talk of a launch event but nothing has been decided yet. Or if it has been decided they haven't told me! 🙄

Well done your friend, I haven't seen one outside of the depot yard yet.
