It's actually at Kidderminster at the moment ready for its guest appearance at the Severn Valley Railway Spring steam gala next weekend. With that and Tornado also in action, I imagine there'll be bumper crowds for the event.

As I've got a new "all in one" printer, I thought I would have another go at scanning and attaching to this forum.

IF it works, you should get the same photo of 6053 JHA53E at Padmore Street, - in two different resolutions.

6053 had just had it's major overhaul at Central Works - - at 7 years old.

There seems to be some action on 6015 - the front offside wheel is off and it looks like some attention to the brakes is being undertaken - I will try and find out more details tomorrow.
As an aside, there is a Job Swap initiative at First Bus, and one of the things was for a driver to become an engineer for the day, and an engineer to shadow a driver for a day. Guess who won the draw to be a temporary engineer - ME!!
I will see if I can have a look at 6015 and find out what needs doing.
Don't know yet when I will be in the garage for a day - it just depends when they get my size 10 hob nail boots and Guantanamo Bay orange overalls!!!!!

Most of my old photos are poor or very poor quality, but I'm hoping that "at least someone" will be interested in them.

The first is of Evesham garage, featuring 6015 in the middle.

The second is of DD11 5257 freshly repainted, in Worcester garage, very close to where 6015 is currently.

The third photo is of "the patch" at WR garage, and is probably unique, in that it gives the impression that the WR allocation is 100% Daimler Fleetlines !!

Sorry about the poor layout -- I'm only just learning how to "do this stuff" --
anyone who's interested can just zoom-in !!

Fear not about the layout - they zoom up very well and I'm sure I'm not the only on who finds them of great interest. Many thanks.

They're of interest to me too.

I used to live in Hollywood so I caught 6015 on the 148 quite a few times (as I did 6013/4/6) during its Evesham years in the 1970s.

I also remember 5257 as one of Worcester's last DDs on the 144 just before the Malvern section of route was separated back in 1976.
