Crowngate Bus Station AM 12/02/25
A few photographs taken in 45 minutes at the top of Crowngate Bus Station this morning Wednesday 12 February 2025. A trifle boring with all the ADL vehicles sporting the same frontal appearance. When are the repaints going to get started? Most of the Enviro 200's ex- South Wales still running around with battered skirting and front and rear nearside corner panels. Also some of these buses need 'tuning up' or putting through the diagnostic as they don't like climbing hills, I didn't think one of them was going to make it up Ronkswood Hill last week when I went up to the hospital for a CT scan! Drivers tell me there are a number like that which is an embarrassment around the Malverns.

Thanks for putting on the photo's. I agree that the fleet all looks similar now , at least 69333 gave some variety. When does the bus wash get repaired ?
Re: Crowngate Bus Station AM 12/02/25
The driver training bus 69333 is the oldest bus by far in the First Bus Worcester fleet and it looks in better bodily condition than most of the fleet - no visible scuffs, scratches or dents and the paintwork appears to be quite recent and in good shape!
Not sure what is going on with the bus wash situation, but hazard a guess that the rumoured enclosed bus wash earmarked to remain where the existing one was sited is pending the start of the walkway adjacent to it on the Company ground bought on compulsory purchase by the Worcester City Council around twelve months ago. Unless anyone knows otherwise? Does nothing for the general filthy state of the buses at this time of year though!

A few more photographs taken during a brief lunchtime visit to Crowngate Bus station today Monday 17 February 2025.
Odd that this Enviro 400 ended up at Worcester with a DFK in its registration plate. FK was a Worcester City registration mark for most of the twentieth century up to mid 1960's when it was transferred to Dudley if my memory is correct.
Finally, I couldn't resist taking a shot of this young woman featured in a mural on a wall adjacent to the the walkway above the bus station connecting The Hive to Crowngate Shopping Centre. Anyone know what it is all about?

A bit more variety with liveries this time. Sorry but I have no idea regarding the mural.

Quick visit into the City this morning, Monday 3 March 2025, to sort out my car insurance and a few shots in Crowngate whilst waiting for the bus back home.
