The Volvos were used in an event at Millbrook vehicle testing centre, unfortunately I don’t know where that is, and we’re due to return to Worcester before being transferred to I assume will be Bristol.

Yes, they are back on the patch at WR -- photo on facebook -- and there was a comment on facebook that "engineering have been told that WR can use 2 of them, but no more than that" --

- that comment seems to have disappeared now !

Not exactly local! Bedfordshire.

This morning (Friday the 13th) there are no less than 9 single-deckers that, according to bustimes, are not in use OR NOT TRACKING :- E200s 44584, 88, 90, 92, 44610, 23, 28, 32; and E300 67438.

So, presumably as a result, FOUR of the Volvos are shown as being in use here at Worcester, rather than departing for elsewhere as was expected.

Our forum stalwart Tim Brown has noticed that the E200s were riding very low to the ground ( - and I guess, possibly contributing to the "battered skirts" they have) so PERHAPS they are having related work done on them ?? -- --

On the First Worcestershire website they have stated that the services that normally enter the Worcester Sixth Form college grounds cannot currently do so because of the speed-bumps there !

If anyone wants to correct or add to the above, please do so !!

We have been told not to go into the 6th form college, and also, X38's from the hospital are to go the normal route, not via the Oncology unit, as none of the vehicles can get round without grounding. So back to 30 minutes round the hospital, and missing out the next trip!!!!! Such is progress.

Today I was pleased to see in the garage, a Cummins van next to 33868, and a new or reconditioned engine on a pallet and a black grotty one on another.

I will be very pleased if First ( - I MAY have read that they are financially "OK now" ) continue to replace knackered mechanical parts / units and reduce breakdowns etc.

33864 (The one with the Gloucester Quays rear-end advert) has come in for criticism on facebook, so hopefully that one will be done next !

Looking on bustimes.org, it MAY have broken down this afternoon just beyond Drakes Broughton, where the tracking stopped at 13.55 --
some schools had early finishes today, and the bustimes map shows it was on route 51 (although it showed route 54 at first on bustimes).

A different DD (33673) appears to have taken-over at c.14.37.
