Welshpool & Llanfair narrow gauge 26 May 2009

Post by TimBrown » 15:07 Tuesday 20th October 2020

Some snaps taken on a trip to the Welshpool & Llanfair narrow gauge railway on 26 May 2009 organised by the late Robin Peart. It is one of the few railways that you can ride in the open balcony at the end of some of the coaches and a picture shows the late Billy Ewins a very long serving mechanic at Worcester garage enjoying the fresh air and beautiful Welsh scenery!

Good old Billy. He was a real star of Worcester depot.

Only been on that line once, but loved it. Something different to the other Welsh narrow gauge lines.
