October changes

The new timetable for the 363 is now online, and shows that the 17.33 from Upton has been dropped, even though the vehicle still arrives from Worcester just before this -- -- IE - it will now go back to Worcester off-service (probably via the A38).
The last 363 from Upton towards Worcester (Monday - Friday) is now at 15.21 on NON schooldays, or 15.39 on schooldays. ("Punters" wanting to know which version is running, and looking online at school-term dates will not know that the school-day version can start a day or more later. -- the last day of school term may also be a different timetable).
(There is also a 333 to Worcester, leaving Upton at 15.40 but via a completely different route).
I have recently used the 17.33, a couple of times, and on the first occasion I was the only passenger, but the next time there were at least 7 people getting on + off at various points on the route.
So if the average number of passengers is just 3, one cannot expect the county council to subsidise it, but it's an awful shame that as the vehicle is going back to Worcester anyway, that First are not going to continue to run it (in service) as a "service to the community" -- -- how much money are First going to save by getting it back to the depot 20 -30 minutes earlier ??

Re: October changes
Aston’s have announced they are running certain 54 and 332 journeys from mid October... That’ll kill the 32 route!
Re: October changes
Christ. First are properly up the spout aren't they!

Re: October changes
Thanks very much willr7, that was quick !
- That's a great relief to learn that the county council is to subsidise some services.
I look forward with great interest to see how many journeys per day the county council are going to subsidise via Kempsey, and I'm glad to see Astons are making a come-back !
Not only have First removed all the off-peak daytime 32s to / from Kempsey, but I have just seen that Kempsey has been removed from their City ticket zone, which (I believe) will mean people in Kempsey paying a lot more to use First's remaining peak time buses !!

Bearing in mind all the new housing + businesses due for the area, I would question whether First know what they are doing (?), - and say Good Luck Astons !!
