If indeed we do get some B9TLs from manchester, could we possibly see some in the salt road livery, due to the increase in use of DDs on the 144a?

I believe some of that fleet are heading to the Midlands, but not Worcester and not double-decks! Nine StreetLites to Leicester and three to Potteries have been mentioned elsewhere.
The Streetlites First Manchester have are all allocated to Oldham. I believe there have been a number of service cuts from Sept which could release those.

There's also a question mark over where Bolton's 11 x 11 plate B7RLE's / Wright will end up (69521-31)? I did wonder whether they might join the 59 plate examples at Leicester from Wells.

I would love us to have some DDs in Salt Road livery (or the same green livery), but ideally upgraded to Euro 6 emissions control for use, sooner or later, in B'ham ( - where there is going to be a restriction +/or financial penalty for using cars which do not comply with the emissions requirements).

I would like FMR (or successor) to keep it's four Euro 6 StreetDecks (35156 -59) to support this.

The recent possible increased use of DDs on the 144A might not be down to increased number of passengers (?), but down to increased utilisation of DDs while single-deckers are being maintained (and similar), and allowing the maximum number of SPARE single-deckers to be available for single-decker-only routes.

I think some Gold E400 MMC or newer versions of E400 Scanias would look nice on this route.

Or National Express West Midlands red and maroon livery - its quite a close match to Midland Red 1960s coach and DP livery. How about a through 144 service Birmingham to Malvern once more?

There are also 11 x 2011 Volvo B7RLE departing Manchester (Bolton) today which could also be heading to Leicester.

10 StreetLites were transferred from Manchester to Stoke/Leicester back in 2015 so If there are 12 more StreetLites to transfer from Manchester then my presumption is that as there are 12 of the same batch left at Manchester then Stoke will get 63106-8 & Leicester will get 63111-8 & 63146. ;)

Looking at the UK Buses fleet list, Leicester needs to replace (or upgrade?) approx. 40 vehicles to become fully Euro 6 compliant.

So the 11 B7RLE + 9 StreetLites from Manchester + 9 Streetlite Max's from Worcester will make up 29 vehicles (This means that approx. 10 more vehicles will also be transferred in from elsewhere?)

Also, I would guess that all the streetLites at Manchester are Euro 5 as they are 2013/14 examples so if they are brought to Leicester then they will need to be converted to Euro 6 along with the 5 B7RLEs from Wells + the potential 11 from Manchester (unless they have already been converted)

I do like trying to solve these fleet puzzles :D

Yes, I remember this being mentioned, but I haven't heard any more about it so I'm not sure... There are 9 of the MMCs at Stoke. So adding these to the mix at Leicester would roughly make up the total of vehicles required as long as all the transfers I suggested above happen aswell.
