Article about D7 to Hollywood USA.

Post by TimBrown » 10:16 Thursday 3rd January 2019

I have been going through my collection of bus memorabilia and came across these copies of articles in the Midland Red Magazine at the time that 4110 and 4111 made the long trip to a new home in Hollywood USA over 50 years ago. The Forum should allow you to increase the image size and make the interesting text readable!

Very hard to tell from the old black and white photos, but it looks to me like 4111 was exported with the wheel arches painted red, which was normal for the date, but they had been repainted to black by the time the photo with the wagons was taken.

Also, some useful date information about the two Tilling-Stevens was included in that side story. Website database has been updated!
