Thanks Tim !
- I particularly like the side view of JOJ707, and the ( "three-quarters rear" ?? ) view of the Sheffield VR.

I assume that the latter is an East Lancs body, and that these were unique in having a rear "bustle" rather than being "faired-in" ?

Plenty of room for corrections there :D

It is only in the last couple of years that I have been photographing side views of preserved buses, there are so many front and three-quarter views of enthusiasts favourite buses and coaches I thought it might be interesting to feature the full profile. As for the old adage of the 'back end of a bus' meaning something ugly, I prefer to think of them as interesting - especially open platform rear entrance double-deckers, so take quite a few shots of these now as well.

My knowledge of rear-engined double-deckers is rather limited, but I believe the West Midlands PTE MCW bodied Bristol VRs also featured an 'exposed' bustle; was it only ECW that filled the back in?

- I agree with that !

- Yes, I'm sure you're right, - I had completely forgotten about those !
