1006 was there on the Sunday followed by a trip through Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Worcester and Evesham on my way to Winchester.

I was going to take a picture outside the old garage at Evesham but I couldn't find it....

There is nothing left of it any more. A modern apartment block is where it once stood. The same will be very true of Hereford soon.

That is very sad. Alas, the same fate may be in store for West Riding's HQ and depot in Wakefield - Belle Isle.

Railway Terrace at Rugby seems doomed too. It is in the path of HS2 apparently.
