JOJ 707 a Daimler CVD6DD with Metro-Cammell H30/24R bodywork new 09/51 to Birmingham City Transport as 2707. I managed a ride on this bus on its first public outing since being acquired by The Museum - it must be nearly 50 years since I last rode on a Daimler engined bus on the farewell day with Gash's Daimlers working their last trips on the Nottingham to Newark express service.
EKV 966 a Daimler CWA6 which was new 08/45 to Coventry City Transport as 366 with a Duple utility body. The attractive Roe H31/25R body was fitted 02/51.

Pleasing to see these two posts of Wythall. Quite a few brought memories - mainly those pre 1960 types. A Gash's Daimler was mentioned in the text. I had the pleasure of riding on one of their Daimlers some while ago at one of the London Transport Societies open days.
