Atleast it's kept the thread alive as I doubt you won't be seeing many tour coaches for a while especially given the age of most of their clientele ;)
It seems that this is well the case and has been partly the cause of the collapse of what would seem to be one of the biggest coach tour operators - Specialist Leisure Group - encompasing both the Shearings and National Holidays brands:

I guess I will have a good wait to see another tour bus , only Prospect's college services seen by myself of late. Although the previously mentioned " Ipswich bus" was again seen in the vicinity of Bromsgrove Rail Station earlier this morning. I gather that West Midlands Trains are short of train crew for the Cross City Line - amongst other routes .

PR19STE seen recently on Prospects W2 college service , this vehicle would be newer than some of the coaches seen on tours over the years !! As for rail replacements , last Sunday I saw a Volvo / Plaxton , FJ09XGL disappear down Station Drive Bromsgrove . Not idea as to who operates this , it was in an all over brown livery , similar to Hallmark Coaches. :?

FJ09XGL has been traced to Mighty Travels of Birmingham . New operator to me. :?

On what I assume to be a tour "feeder" this morning was M200MHS of MHS Coaches of Stourport who have operated this 1995 Volvo for almost 20 years . ;)

A smart minibus operated by Laguna Holidays on stand 4 yesterday , I almost had a funny turn as I thought for a moment that Clearway had "splashed the cash" . . . . . . . :o :)
