I'd be interested to hear other's thoughts on this recent announcement.

I must admit the bus service round here, from both Go Cornwall and First does seem pretty good, although as I can walk to work and have four vehicles I don't actually use it myself.......

So much more to getting people on a bus than ticket prices. People need to have confidence that it will turn up, and after all the recent drivers shortages recently that is not easy to achieve.

Adam is right of course. That said, it's got to be good news for fare-paying regular passengers, and I hope that the positive news coverage does bring more people on board. I had a couple of days out on First Kernow buses back in 2019, and they were good.

It will be interesting to see how much more use is made of buses there, and what proportions of the increase are due to locals and to visitors. And let's hope no services are overloaded ...
