Not a lot of freight down here in the West Country so have to make the most of what I've got!

Here's 66118 with loaded china clay from Goonbarrow, seen on the Par-Newquay branch at St Blazey, then letter on the Fowey Docks branch at Golant. Meanwhile 66094 gets away from Par with a train of clay slurry for Bescot.

Thanks Matt for the Cornish delights, particularly liked the Fowey Docks pictures especially long panoramic shot with boats in the foreground!

An area that I have only visited on a handful of occasions (mainly by rail on First's employee offers) as it is a long way from Worcester and the roads beyond M5 leave a bit to be desired.

You'd be welcome any time Tim. I'm close to the old St Blazey shed with roundhouse (now used as industrial units), and the still-operational turntable which is used for turning locos on steam tours.

Thanks, Matt. Super photos, particularly of the Fowey branch, one of the most scenic in the country I always think. Some 25 years or so ago I did it on an HST charter train and I've always thought what a pity it is it isn't used for passenger trains as a tourist line. If ever the docks were to close, hopefully it could be preserved as such.
