Found a Youtube video that shows the one 47 must have run round at Gloucester to get on to the other end. Surely they could have done this at Droitwich or Worcester, but hey ho!

Not sure if there is a facility to run around at Droitwich and I seem to recall that the line through Worcester yard has been worked on recently, so may well be still out of bounds to freight in the short term. It would probably cause delays to scheduled passenger services at the time it ran through of 09-10 in the morning if the locomotive ran around within Shrub Hill station as both platforms get some use i.e.;

09-06 Great Malvern to Westbury (P1A),
09-17 Padd to Gt Malvern (P1),
09-32 Hereford to New Street (P1) crew change ends to form 09-36 departure,
09-38 terminates ex Dorridge (P2) and forms 09-52 departure to Whitlocks End (P2),
09-59 Padd to Great Malvern (P1),
10-14 Great Malvern to Padd (P2)
and 10-16 Warminster to Great Malvern (P1).

Many of these services already get delayed or cancelled by single line working through Foregate Street if train in opposite direction is running late!
