Yesterday lunchtime, Friday 14 October 2022, West Coast Railway 37668 and 37676 worked an empty coach stock train through Bredicot from Burton-on-Trent Wetmore Sidings to Pengam Sidings in preparation for the Pathfinder Settle and Carlisle charter from Newport in the early hours of this morning Saturday 15 October 2022. Apologies that the second shot is slightly blurred, but the train was moving at about 80 MPH on full power and everyone present said the lingering clag smelled like chip fat!
75 MPH with DRS 66431 hauling a very long train of 34 containers supplying essentials to the Tesco supermarkets in South Wales.
An hour or so before the daily Tescos Daventry to Wentloog freight passed through at ECS working with 2 x Class 37
Re: ECS working with 2 x Class 37
I'm a bit late posting these shots of another ECS movement which took place on Friday 11 November 2022 when Rail Operations Group 37611 hauled six barrier coaches from Derby to Long Marston through Worcester Shrub Hill with 37510 bringing up the rear.

Excellent 37 action.
We had 'Great Rocks' down here this week, I managed to catch a glimpse whilst up a ladder at work but sadly couldnt get out to see it properly, unlike this hardy soul!

That train was certainly shifting some water in the video almost obliterated by spray at one point!
Today, Wednesday 30 November 2022, saw a Derby to Bristol Kingsland Road test train with 37610 leading 37612 in top-and-tail mode powering through Worcester Shrub Hill, accelerating hard with a cacophony of sound in an attempt to make up 17 minutes late running and keep out of the path of following Paddington passenger train. This test train is routed via Oxford, Didcot, Swindon, Westbury and Weymouth before returning for a number of passes through the Bristol area.
