Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 18 January 2022, a train from Wimbledon Park CSD to Long Marston hauled by 37800 called in at Worcester Shrub Hill yard where the 37 ran round the train and took it back south again to the final destination of the redundant third rail electric units consisting of two 4-car Class 455 EMUs and one 2-car Class 456 EMU which will be stored pending a decision on their future.

When I used to work in that yard just past Norton Junction, the 37s were on full bore heading for Long Marston. Great fun!
