Steam and diesel in the same shot at Bredicot on Friday 12 November 2021 with 37129 propelling a northbound test train as LNER new build A1 Pacific 60163 'Tornado' runs south en route from the National Railway Museum York to St Philips Marsh Bristol TMD in preparation to working the Railway Touring Company charter 'The Cheshireman' from Bristol to Chester via Hereford tomorrow Saturday 13 November 2021;

Tornado looked immaculate as she drifted through Bromsgrove Station and into the south loop.

Yes 'Tornado' looked very smart. I have to apologise that my write-up showed the class 37 as 37129 when in fact it should read 37219. Paradoxically it is 37219 which is the vintage offering as it was built 58 years ago in 1963, whereas 60163 'Tornado' entered service a mere 13 years ago in 2008 - appearances can be deceptive!
