New bus for DRM Bus

I'm told Mr Morris has bought himself a new toy. It is currently parked up at the depot in Bromyard still in overall white livery. I don't know the vehicle type but I imagine it is top-spec and totally overkill for the rural routes they operate, just like the rest of the fleet. Registration number is DM66DRM.

Good on him. I like to see that kind of 'owner-driver' mentality as per HGVs.
Chrome bars, spotlights, alloys, leather and tinted windows . If I had my way that's the kind of thing Mr Yeomans would be spending his money on, not that National Express would let him!

Still haven't seen this but I'm told it is now in service. Unusually for DRM it is still on overall white livery, but with the normal DRM random route advertising all over. Maybe they have run out of purple paint in Bromyard?

It is rather uninspiring. I'm wondering if the vehicle is leased and not bought?

To be fair, very few of his buses get a new paint job from the one they came in - think one stayed mostly cream until he sold it, and all the other "new" ones were whatever colour Scania painted them in for loaning out before they got to him. Suspect this was brought from stock.

Maybe in 5 years time the bottom half will turn blue, or he'll think up a completely new colour scheme - not used red or green yet!
