New route for DRM

Post by AdamH » 17:18 Tuesday 28th March 2023

After the passing of the legend that was David Morris last year, I had my doubts over the future of DRM the bus company. However, a few weeks ago they were awarded a contract to operate a new route, Service 232 between Ledbury, Newent and Ross-on-Wye. This has been issued to replace the Newent to Ledbury section of the old Service 132, and the Newent to Ross section of Service 32, both withdrawn by Stagecoach West last year.

Today I've been working on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, and I've been out in the van updating bus stop information on this new route. Rather surprised to find they have buses after 2200 on Friday and Saturday nights, plus a limited service on Sundays. So a better service than First's Worcester to Malvern route! :?

Not all bad news then mate, hopefully it will be well used enough to work out for them.
