Yes, the new livery is a great improvement..........but then I think almost anything would be. The old one is not up to much when newly applied and clean but after a short time in service, it's one of the worst I have ever seen.

Diamond still have a "staff bus" parked up during the day in the bus station. I have seen various types of buses used with the E200 seemingly most used. Some would suggest that it gives Diamond an instant replacement for any breakdown locally . . . . . . . .

The main reason for that Staff Bus was for Drivers who finished and didn't have bus take back to depo had that to take back instead of waiting an hour or so for the next 42

Thanks for the info Daniturn3 , another question for you. Is the guy wearing a black jacket who can be found in the bus station a spare driver or an inspector ?? That is assuming he is a "Diamond" employee and not a bus enthusiast !!

All depends who you mean as there is normally a guy who drives what was the 44 now and had a 2 hour break who was a regular on it but that changes now the 202 is back.
Also yes sometimes we have inspectors there who are wearing black jacket as well so not sure who you mean.
