I think it's a bit of both!
It's not just Bromsgrove! went to Stourport a few months ago and saw one conked out on the bridge over the river.

To be fair seen a couple of First vehicles broken down but seem to see many more Diamonds

M333SLT on the 202 yesterday morning and I travelled VX54MOU and there was a rather noticeable "clunk" every time a higher gear was engaged.

Wessex liveried WX07UOB/30001 , brought back memories of "Red Diamond's" in Bromsgrove bus station this morning, to be fair , all destination displays were accurate so passengers we aware of what service the bus was on. [202]. :)

The interesting combination of a silver liveried Diamond bus with Hanson fleet names on the side doing a 43 from Bromsgrove to Redditch today certainly caused some bewilderment earlier . . . . ;) And with Midland Red buses turning green . . . . . . . . :D :D

I see on Twitter, a Diamond bus was yesterday involved in a RTC with a light goods vehicle at the Kidderminster Road and Perryfields road junction in Bromsgrove. From the photo looks as though the bus has come off worst. It's an awful junction that needs traffic lights or a roundabout.

A report and several pictures appear on the Bromsgrove Standard website. Thankfully it appears no-one required hospital treatment; one passenger was treated at the scene. The vehicle involved is a blue Plaxton bodied bus which has taken quite a lot of front-end damage. Does anyone know which one it is?
