Yeah, done some digging online... Two of them are BX62 FOJ (40604) & BX62 FUU (40605) but I’m not sure on the third one and also not sure what they are doing at Kidderminster.

Could these possibly be in connection with the takeover by Rotala of Central Buses as recorded on another section of this forum, maybe replacements for older deckers?

Is Central Buses Routemaster RML2411 included in the sale to Rotala? Just to jog our memory, it was photographed at Transport Museum, Wythall on 8 October 2017.

Redditch have recently acquired double decker 40625 from "up north", reports on wmbusphotos.comforum suggest it is to work on the 247 service [ one for DD12 to try out ] as the 247 rota includes a school run that needs a d/d. I saw this bus in Redditch yesterday evening on the way back from Evesham. :P

That's good news, thanks Andrew !

I have ridden a DD on the 247, shortly before First sold Redditch to Diamond, and Diamond used a Trident in their blue livery until (I think) the accessibility laws made that vehicle illegal for use on public services.

I've had reports that's it's been spotted in Evesham several times so I'm guessing it's a regulare on the 247. However, I was told today that's it's already lost a number of upper-deck windows to low trees so it may be moved to another route soon.

The ever informative West Midlands Buses forum informs us that Redditch are due to receive 5 x d/d's from Diamond North West. 8-)
